the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Oncology RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612! Job Title:

Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC Must-Have: - Infusion center,
inpatient oncology, or outpatient oncology experience required.
Description: Position specialty is Registered Nurse - Chemotherapy.
The shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30
PM. Call requirements are not applicable. No weekend shifts are
required. Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 5
days, with no more than 2 consecutive days off. No requests for
time off are permitted on weekends or holidays. Floating within the
scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs. All
clinicians are required to float as needed. Experience with
infusion centers, inpatient oncology, and outpatient oncology is
essential. Daily patient ratios are approximately 9 patients per
nurse. Charting is performed using a specified electronic health
record system. Clinicians must demonstrate proficiency in the
administration of chemotherapy and handling body fluids
post-chemotherapy. Skills required include intravenous push
administration, management of ports, infusion pump management, and
care of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC). The patient
population includes adults with various cancer diagnoses and other
medical conditions. Special procedures include the administration
of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Other interdisciplinary support
services available include pharmacy, radiology, and social
services. Candidates must provide documentation of required
vaccinations prior to the start date. Returning resources must
undergo recredentialing and reorientation if there is a break in
