Job Description:
Under general supervision, this role's primary responsibility is
performing data research and financial analysis to answer complex
business questions. Develops timely, innovative, objective analysis
and reporting, which leads to fact-based solutions for strategic
business issues. Responsible for the Company's reporting, metrics,
and KPIs. -Essential duties and responsibilities
Manage the full life cycle of
analytical projects: interview business users; capture and document
requirements; analyze and validate data needs; analyze data; design
and develop any reporting solution; work with business users to
determine the best plan of action and make process recommendations;
manage the implementation; test and train usersUsing statistical
tools to interpret data sets, focusing on trends and patterns that
could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics
effortsDeveloping and preparing reports for various audience
levels, from users to senior management, that effectively
communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant
dataDefining new data collection and analysis processes as
neededMining data from primary and secondary sources, then cleaning
and reorganizing this data in a format that either human or machine
within Department guidelines can easily readMonitor for data
accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in data used in analysis and
reporting. Communicate to appropriate personnel if data
inaccuracies exist. Responsible for testing systems enhancements
and fixesManage individual projects as assigned to ensure adherence
to schedule, quality, and accuracy of delivered results. Ensure
follow-up so that analysis and reporting outcomes are reviewed and
implementedLearn and continue to gain business operations
knowledge. Leverage this knowledge to recommend future
projectsSecondary Functions
Perform other job-related duties and
responsibilities as may be assignedQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and at least 3
years of experience in a similar role OR High School Diploma/GED
and at least 5 years of experience in a similar
role.Skills/Abilities
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical,
lay terms
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in Microsoft database
technologies (SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, etc.)
- Experience in Power BI reporting development
- Advanced skill in Excel includes macros, pivot tables, and
advanced formatting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to clearly communicate findings to all levels of the
organization
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with a team while
executing independent decision-making abilities in a fast pace
environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and the
ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities -
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex
issues and recommending and implementing problem-solving
strategies
- Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition,
data profiling, and data warehouse management
- Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision
support systems environment or IT experience
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining
techniques
- -Any experience analyzing supply chain, production, warehouse
execution, and/or financial data is a plus
- Any experience with Infor M3 is a strong plus -This document
