Service Manager - Up to $85K a year ROMEOVILLE, IL Description Service Manager (for Diesel Mechanic Shop) Romeoville, IL 60446 Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 Direct and manage activities that provide value added service in the most effective and efficient manner to ensure organizational goals are met Generate, complete, and monitor relevant internal and external operational documentation on a regularly defined basis Ensure employees are educated and trained to follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including ensuring possession and knowledge of proper usage of required tools and gear Ensure DOT, OSHA, and EPA compliance including continuing education in hazard communications and training Ensure assigned maintenance facility and shop vehicles are clean and maintained to Aim National ease standards Coordination of customer equipment repair and maintenance Requirements 3 years of experience in the trucking industry, management or related field Mechanical background in the transportation industry Excellent communication skills Proficient computer skills Benefits for Employee & Family: Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical Coverage Dental and Vision 401K Company Match Paid Vacation and Holidays Company Paid Life Insurance Short-Term/Long-Term Disability Room for growth!
