**Summary**
Support the Planning Departments needs with various administrative duties. Assist in ensuring clear communication within Production, Supply Chain, Shipping, and Quality departments in order to facilitate customer on time delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will have a career path to becoming a Planner
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
+ Release Work Order to the production floor along with required documentation
+ Create Routings, Print Drawings, Print Process sheets as required
+ Track Sales Orders that require First Article Inspection and interact with Quality department to ensure timely completion
+ Track and follow up daily on customer Contract Review Forms
+ Track and assign Late Codes on Shipments as required
+ Update Work Orders with alternate components as required and directed
+ Create Return Material Authorization Work Orders and packets
+ Assist in Capacity Planning
+ Assists with special projects as needed
Position Requirements
**Qualifications**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
**Required:**
+ Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ High School degree
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
**Preferred:**
+ Intermediate to Advanced Excel Experience with Basic to Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite products.
+ Intermediate to Advanced Experience with a mid-tier ERP system (Epicor or Intuitive preferred).
+ Experience in a contract manufacturing environment
