As a licensed practical nurse (LPN), you will provide nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and our standards of care and practices. Join us in our mission to provide exceptional psychiatric care to our patients.Document patient information and changes in patient conditionAlert the RN of changes needing reassessmentAdminister medication to patientsUtilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergenciesOrient patients to treatment programs and monitor activity, encouraging participationUse facility-approved CPI techniquesYour Experience Matters What were looking for:Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited LPN program with an active license to practice in Illinois.Experience: A minimum of one (1) year as an LPN in psychiatric nursing is preferred, with six (6) months of experience in the specialized areas of psychiatry, but not required.Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
