Position Summary:

Horizon is building an in-house agency, Horizon Design. This role offers the exciting opportunity to help establish and grow the function. The Senior Designer, Horizon Design, will contribute to a variety of design tasks including print and digital piece update and creation, creative design, and concepting. This role will also have the opportunity to nurture and lead a creative team as the function expands.

This person will be critical to ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in deliverables so internal marketing teams can rely on Horizon Design for their work.

Responsibilities:

• Execute design and content updates to existing marketing materials
• Create elements needed for animations and video deliverables
• Design new or derivative marketing materials
• Provide creative oversight of Horizon Design deliverables to ensure consistent quality
• Provide creative guidance for internal stakeholders and marketing teams
• Contribute to the development of optimal systems and processes for executing high-quality work efficiently
• Manage the production of internal and external printed materials to build brand awareness and customer interest
• Effectively collaborate with internal and 3rd party development and creative teams
• Work on assignments requiring a solid level of creativity and context
• Create visual identities for both internal and corporate partner events and programs
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, as needed
  
  Qualifications and Skills Required:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior designer role or equivalent
  • 5+ years in an agency or internal agency environment
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • 2+ years of digital design experience (emails, website, display ads) preferred
  • Experience with Veeva and pharmaceutical regulatory review processes is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external development and design teams
  • Experience with QA and version control
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organization skills
