Title: Structural Welders / Fabricators
Location: Gurnee, IL area
Pay Rate: 18-23/HR (commensurate with experience)
Duration of Job: Contract to hire
Hours: 6am-2:30pm (Some O.T will be required)

Welder / Fabricator.
Need experience in fabricating and welding structural steel. Need someone who can hit the ground running on day one.

Client is looking for a fabricator who has welding experience Mig & fluxcore. Must have layout and blueprint reading. Must be a quick thinker, outgoing, be able to work independently; not alot of direction given.

Doing Structural welding of Steel Structures. Must have MIG welding exp., fluxcore additional TIG welding experience is a plus. Must have at least 3 years experience- but would like more. Need to read steel fabrication drawings and understand welding symbols. Ability to stand on their feet all day. Lift up to 50 pounds.
They use both types of welding, mig for their structural steel and tig for their ornamental items, ie, stairs, railings, etc. If someone has both, that would, be preferred, if not, they would prefer MIG
