Description The Application Architect organizes the lifecycle of new development on future and existing products. In this role, you will be reviewing product requirements, designing product architecture, and managing daily product development efforts. The Application Architect will be responsible for managing complex interactions between business processes and technologies as well as translating product specifications into production level applications.How you will make an impact- Support writing the technical section of functional specifications for new product development.- Mentor developers by providing technical and non-technical help and oversight- Work to understand requirements and create functionality specifications with the product team.- Lead code reviews, calling out best practices and steps for increased stability and capability.- Help with product release planning and assessing feature viability/effort.- Manage the deployment of alpha and beta releases during the stabilization of new product development.- Get hands-on with code development for web-based n-tier applications.- Create, design, and document solutions to product specifications for shared capabilities throughout the architecture.- Support team members so that they grow abilities and strengthen capabilities.- Oversee the timeline for product development.- Determine and progress development standards, guidelines, procedures, processes, and metrics.- Design, establish, and maintain technical architecture standards and develop cross-product frameworks and best practices.- Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements - BA/BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science.- 5+ years of experience in team management in a related field.- 10+ years of experience in application development, software design, and architecture. - TIBCO BW 5.14.0/ BW 5.15 - TIBCO Adapter upgrade from 7.2.X /7.3.X - TIBCO EMS 8.5.1 - TIBCO SAP adapter and File adapter - HP UX/ SuSe Linux - Application Migration Experience - Vendor management - SLA/SLO management - Onshore/Offshore management - Cost Optimization and Estimation Review - Process/People/Compliance management - Scalable HA/DR setups using TIBCO Enterprise Integration Suite.
