Under minimum supervision, the Senior EHS
Specialist is responsible for administration of safe and
healthy working conditions for all employees at our Northbrook
headquarters while supporting remote locations. Investigates
conditions that may affect employee health and comfort.
documents and maintains environmental health and safety (EHS)
programs (e.g. hazardous materials, emergency response plans) in
compliance with Federal, State and Local legislation.
inspections and reports on tests and investigations to obtain data
for use in determining sources of pollution and methods for
controlling pollutants in air, soil and water.
interprets and validates information on hazardous materials and
programs and instructs employees in matters pertaining, but not
limited to occupational health, injury prevention, safe operation
of equipment and proper handling/cleanup of chemicals and hazardous

representative responding to public inquiries, audits (internal and
external), government agencies or executive inquiries.

Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, or
CIH or CSP
Minimum of 6
years of hands-on EHS program implementation
