  • Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. Performs standardized tests using general laboratory equipment. Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software.
  • Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions.
  • Operates designated testing equipment as directed.
  • Receives instructions from and reports data to section heads, group leaders, engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets.
  • Helps integrate continuous improvement concepts and techniques for lab site.
  • Will be the head of the of the lab organzition and cleaniness and its flow using the 5S methods. 
  • Will be the one to get customers settled in for the work day, from check in to check out. 
  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use multimeters, voltmeters, and hand tools.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to communicate with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to work independently and sef-motivate.
