Requirements for 24/7 Call Center Manager (RN) positions

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required, Master of Science in Nursing degree preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
  • Trained in advanced nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of Hospice Regulations
  • Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse preferred
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in hospice
  • Communication skills, verbal and written
  • Organization skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and budgeting
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, patient database, internet, e-mail), voicemail

Position Overview

The 24/7 Call Center Manager (RN) ensures seamless coordination of care for all JourneyCare Teams. This role provides clinical leadership for the 24/7 Call Center Team. This requires frequent multitasking and reassessment to assure best utilization of all available resources, using an interdisciplinary team approach.

Work Schedule - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday / 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (flexible hours available)
