Who We Are:
Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly
17,000 students in preschool through grade 12 and is located
halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the
shores of Lake Michigan. Our District has one early learning
center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and a high
school program divided between two 9 - 12th grade campuses. The
District encompasses portions of Waukegan, Beach Park and Park

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Language Liaison for Child find Summer Evaluation/IEP Teams
will be directly responsible to the Child Find Coordinator or her
designee and will provide translation for evaulations & IEPs.
Responsibilities: Translating for parent conversations and phone
calls, parent appointment reminders, domain meetings, evaluations,
IEP eligibility meetings, IEP documents, and other documents
received by the IEP team that require translation.
Qualifications: Must be a current language Liaison in District
familiar with IEP process.
Salary: Regular hourly pay as received during the school
Additional Information: Candidates will work during the summer
on designated days TBD to complete summer evaluations. The Language
Liaison for Child Find Summer Evaluation and IEP meetings will work
June 10th-11th, 2021 for Professional Development and will support
the Evaluation & IEP Teams with translations, phone calls,
greeting, and directing parents; June 14th - July 16th, 2021,
Monday through Friday.
