Position OverviewThe Call Center Coordinator provides patients, families and caregivers assistance by answering questions, resolving concerns and facilitating smooth access to care through effective triaging of calls, to assess and manage patient needs. This position is responsible for ensuring all inquiries from patients, families and caregivers are routed appropriately for timely follow-up and resolution. The Call Center Coordinator is responsible for reporting symptom calls and interventions to the appropriate team clinician and Team Manager for follow-up and ensures excellent customer service through all communication. Work Schedule: This will float between three different shifts - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm / 4:30 pm to 12:00 am / 12:00 am to 8:00 am. Will also be working every other weekend. Work Location: Evening & Overnight shifts will be remote, Day & Weekend shifts will be in the Barrington office Required Experience:Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare organizationAbility to work under pressure, multi-task and maintain a calming, professional presence in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsAbility to maintain organizational confidentiality, which includes but is not limited to information about patients/families, volunteers, employees, donors and Agency processesFlexibility to embrace change and effectively shift prioritiesExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenExcellent time management and organizational skillsExcellent computer skills (Word, Excel, patient database, e-mail), voicemail Preferred Experience, Skills, and QualificationsAssociate Degree in NursingLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of IllinoisKnowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations Benefits offered for Call Center Coordinator position BlueCross BlueShield Medical Benefits / Dental & Vision Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Company-Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability Competitive 403B Retirement Match Tuition/Education Reimbursement Keyword: 24/7 Call Center, LPN From: JourneyCare
