Part-Time Human Resources Assistant Location: DeFuniak Springs Position will provide administrative and clerical support for the Human Resources Training department. While in that position, he/she meets, greets, and directs the department's customers and visitors; answers and directs incoming calls. Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Thursday and Fridays (1/2 hr lunch) Occasionally would fill in other days of the week as needed ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides clerical, data entry, and word processing support to Human Resources Training Department. Maintains records in Learning Management System LMS. Perform general office activities, such as typing, answering telephones, operating office machines, processing mail, filing, and securing confidential materials. QUALIFICATIONS: Must demonstrated understanding of standard practices used in managing/organizing files and records and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality customer service. Must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of keeping employee protected personal information confidential. Keep strict confidentiality when dealing with employee records and information. Actively listen and give full attention to what other people are saying. Communicate with tact, professionalism, and respect. Detail oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated aptitude to learn and work in relational databases and document imaging programs. Prioritize jobs and varied tasks throughout a work day.* Continuously remains in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time when supporting the front desk of the Administration building entrance* Continuously coordinates hands and eyes using office machinery and equipment in repetitive motions* Frequently uses oral comprehension and oral expression in person to communicate with guests, cooperative employees, and vendors* Frequently uses near vision to read computer screens and operate a motor vehicle* Frequent use repetitive movement of hands and manual dexterity* Frequently operates a variety of office equipment: computers, telephones, facsimile machines, calculators, copiers, scanners, etc.* Frequently uses near vision to interpret computer data etc.* Occasionally bends, kneels, and reaches overhead* Occasionally uses a step ladder to reach above the file cabinets and kitchen cabinets * Work duties require the work to be performed at a in an office setting with frequent interruptions and use of a computer.Education Experience A High School diploma or equivalent Certifications in Microsoft Word and/or Excel, preferredWhy Kelly--?As a worker today, it's up to you to take charge of your career and look for opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve your potential.
