Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for picking various components and sub-assemblies, each weighing up to 40 pounds, based on a manual pick sheet. You will manage 80-120 orders per day, with each order containing 1-4 lines to be picked. Your duties will include picking products from the warehouse area for shipping using UPS manifests, printing labels, and loading and unloading trucks manually and eventually with a sit-down forklift. Training on a stand-up forklift for heavier orders will be provided. Responsibilities Pick components and sub-assemblies based on manual pick sheet. Manage 80-120 orders per day with 1-4 lines per order. Use UPS manifests to pick products and print shipping labels. Load and unload trucks manually and with a sit-down forklift. Receive training on a stand-up forklift for heavier orders. Essential Skills Experience with stand-up forklifts (Crown or similar). Proficiency in picking and loading/unloading tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with UPS processes is a nice-to-have. Why Work Here? Work Environment The warehouse is a very clean, temperature-controlled facility with 10-15 rows of products. Shelving extends to the ceiling, but all picking will be within arm's reach. The team comprises six members, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
