Product/Software engineer Takeda Pharmaceutical USA - IL -
Bannockburn About the role: As a Product Engineer, you will be
involved in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining
Digital products to support our Plasma Donation centers.You will be
part of a Product team that develops and maintain complex digital
products in an advanced product-focused IT organization. You will
be partnering with vendor teams and other Takeda Product Engineers,
Technical Architects, Product Owners, Product Managers, and team
members.Join Takeda as Senior Product/Software engineer where you
will be part of this fast-paced product team with an agile mindset
and work on the latest technology stack to deliver high-quality,
secure solutions, using your in-depth knowledge of software
development, and deployment techniques. You will also identify
end-of-life technical components and modernize them to future-proof
the product portfolio. You will partner within the organization to
drive process improvement, user experiences, and application
optimizations using technology, As part of the PDT IT you will
report to Senior Digital Software/Product Engineer PDT Donation
Management and work with key stakeholder. How you will
contribute:
- Design, Develop, and implement scalable solutions using the
latest technologies while enhancing and maintaining existing legacy
components.
- As an engineer you will build technology components that
improves the product's usability, operational efficiency, security,
etc.
- As a technical product team member, you will collaborate with
support teams to resolve product-related issues.
- Participate in Scrum meetings, grooming user stories,
identifying technical user stories and story point validation,
etc.
- Partner within and outside the product team to Influence
technologies that enable better product development
methodologies.
- As a technical lead, you will be interacting with a globally
distributed team to deliver web, data, and advanced analytical
solutions. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science,
Informatics, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer, product
engineer, technical lead, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working with globally distributed team
teams, including vendor technical resource management
experience
- Custom application development and hosting experience.
Experienced in hosting custom solutions on AWS or other public
cloud ecosystems.
- Experienced in building applications on Microsoft technologies,
.Net core, ASP.NET , etc.
- Experienced in developing microservices on containers.
- Experienced in full-stack web application development, Angular,
REST, GraphQL, etc.
- Experienced in developing solutions for Relational Databases
(SQL server, others).
- Experience in Application Architecture documentation and
implementation.
- Exposure to DevOps methodology, Continuous deployment strategy,
Infrastructure as Code etc.
- Exposure to Agile and rapid application implementation
methodology
- Exposure to NoSQL, Graph Database, and Multi-model DB's
- Ability to manage and propose optimal technology choices for
