Our location in Chicago, IL, currently has an opportunity for a seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you should be comfortable and proficient with both front-end web application development using React and back-end development using Spring Boot. You should also be a team player with excellent communication skills and great attention to detail.
We want to meet you if you're also familiar with Pair Programming agile software development technique and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
  
  
• 
  Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design using React JS
  
  
• 
  Develop and design RESTful services and applications using Spring Boot
  
  
• 
  Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
  
  
• 
  Write technical documentation
  
  
• 
  Stay current and provide insight on cutting-edge software approaches, architectures, andvendors
  
  
  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  Required
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of experience or more in React/Angular or any other similar libraries
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of experience with Java/SpringBoot/Node js on the backend
    
    
    Preferred
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
      
      
    • 
      Strong proficiency in ES6 or TypeScript and thorough understanding of ReactJS and itscore principles and familiarity with HTML / CSS
      
      
    • 
      Experience with React Hooks, Redux or Context
      
      
    • 
      Proficiency in React Unit Testing frameworks (e.g., React Testing Library, Jest, Enzyme,etc.)
      
      
    • 
      Strong understanding of integration with REST services and knowledge of RESTfulAPIs,
      
      
    • 
      Proficiency in Java or Kotlin. It includes OO Design as well as Functional Programmingfeatures
      
      
    • 
      Experience building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
      
      
    • 
      Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
      
      
    • 
      Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Action
      
      
    • 
      Experience building asynchronous services using Kafka or equivalent is a plus
      
      
    • 
      Experience developing in Azure cloud is a plus
      
      
    • 
      GIT experience is a plus
      
      
    • 
      Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technicalrequirements
      
      
    • 
      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ahead for problem-solving
      
      
    • 
      Skilled at working in tandem with a team or unsupervised as required
