Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Medication Technician - Centralized Triage - PER DIEM - Location: Warrenville, IL - *THIS ROLE IS PER DIEM, MEANING IT IS AS NEEDED* - Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. What you will do: This role will process prescription refill and medication prior authorizations following designated protocols, under the direction of the provider and RN for the Elmhurst primary care clinics. What you will need: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Experience as a Pharmacy Technician - Must obtain a Pharmacy Technician certification by a national certification test - Experience with an EMR; EPIC preferred - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document legibly - Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician licensure. Certified Pharmacy Technician with CPhT certification highly preferred, or must obtain within two year of licensure requirement, or an active student in accredited school of Pharmacy or have maintained active Pharmacy Technician licensure with IL since Jan 2008.
