Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: South Bend, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in South Bend, Indiana, 46601! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Preferred (2 Years) License: Active State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proficiency in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms. - Telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience. - Some cardiac drip experience required. Description: Position / Specialty: Step Down Unit It is required that all nurses are proficient in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These units are true cardiac floors, and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health. Shift: Nights. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday. Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs. Ratios: 1:4. Requires 1 year of experience. First-timers are accepted. Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must live outside a specified radius. Pending license accepted; must be active prior to the start date. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Must have experience with the following drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Lasix. The unit has beds capable of conducting hemodialysis. Patients may require various modes of oxygenation other than vents. This is a high acuity, busy unit primarily serving adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. The unit manages a variety of diagnoses requiring close monitoring, including telemetry, stroke, and CHF. Special procedures may include bedside assistance for cardiac procedures. Travelers must complete required modules prior to the start of the assignment.
