Member of Our New 24/7 ER Team! Are you passionate about emergency
medicine? Midwest Animal Hospital is expanding in 2026 to launch a
comprehensive 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service, and we’re
seeking skilled, dedicated Emergency Veterinarians to join us at

year. While we’re not a formal teaching hospital, we cherish the
opportunity to support and mentor future veterinarians in a
welcoming, team-oriented environment. Comprehensive Services: Our
busy hospital offers a full spectrum of general practice care
including preventative medicine, dental care, reproduction,
acupuncture, rehabilitation, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery,
boarding, grooming, and daycare. Make an Impact: Provide
life-saving emergency and critical care daily in a fast-paced,
supportive environment that values your expertise and well-being.
Flexible Scheduling: Choose from 3x12 or 4x10-hour shifts with a
mix of day, swing, and overnight options - no mandatory
overnight-only schedules unless you want them! Typically 2
weekends/month with options for 1. We build schedules thoughtfully,
with days off to recover between night and day shifts. Competitive
Compensation: ProSal Model with base ranges of $140k–$150k for new
grads and $160k–$175k for experienced ER vets. Plus, a $20k sign-on
bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan repayment options.
Advanced Resources: Access cutting-edge diagnostics and surgical
tools, including digital radiology, CT scan, ultrasound with
certified techs, endoscopy, and laser therapy. Professional Growth:

support to attend the IVECCS conference annually. Collaborate daily
with specialists in orthopedics, rehab, acupuncture, and more.

patients’! Your Role: Perform hands-on emergency medicine and soft
tissue surgery cases like GDVs, foreign body removals,
splenectomies, lacerations, and amputations. Help shape our new ER
protocols, culture, and workflows - your input will be valued and

base range of $125k–$150k. Final compensation commensurate with
