organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to
improve the health and quality of life of the community by
providing culturally competent services that address identified
needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly
16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one
is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or
ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide
range of services that include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine,
Women's Health, Urgent Care, Dental, and Integrated Behavioral
Health. We also offer supportive services such as case management,
health education and benefits enrollment. What will you do? Provide
urgent health care for individuals under the supervision of a
licensed physician. Elicits detailed patient histories and conducts
complete physician examinations. Reaches diagnosis independently
and in consultation with a collaborating Physician, as well as
other staff physicians when appropriate. What do you need to
qualify? Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant Program Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin with
at least one year of clinical experience Previous experience in an
urgent care or emergency department is preferred. Must have the
patience and tact to deal with the patient population and the
ability to work effectively in the urgent care environment. A
minimum commitment of 1 weekend/month is required. Equal Employment
