Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technician– Days | Evanston, IL Location: Evanston, IL Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Weekend required Guaranteed Hours: 40 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to assist with procedures and provide diagnostic support through advanced imaging techniques. You will play a key role in conducting organ and body scans, administering contrast media, assisting with complex vascular and nonvascular procedures, and supporting radiologists and PAs in a high-standard care environment. ? Key Responsibilities Accurately prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Conduct organ and body scans, monitor patient condition, and report abnormalities Administer contrast media and medications within legal scope and safety guidelines Assist with angiographic, vascular, and interventional therapeutic procedures Support the Radiologist/PA during specialized imaging exams Monitor and refine imaging protocols as needed Adhere to radiation safety and compliance standards Ensure all activities meet regulatory and quality standards Licensure / Certification Requirements BLS Provider – AHA or American Red Cross (required) Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) – ARRT (required) Radiologic Technologist License – Issued by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (required) Cardiographic Tech – Credentialed from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), required prior to hire/transfer Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – Preferred Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s/Technical degree OR 4 years of cumulative job-specific experience Why Join This Team?
