Job Description:
Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and
oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. -This individual interacts
with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors.
-Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and
demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and
prescribed protocols. -Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares
scan room -equipment, supplies and medications. -This individual
also maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
-Other duties as assigned.
