Emergency Department/Trauma Duration: 18 weeks Shift: 3rd Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department nursing
experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or
Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse
Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association Basic
Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing
theory and practice acquired through completion of a minimum of two
years of education at an accredited School of Nursing. - Two years
of Emergency Room nursing experience. Description: The Registered
Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group
of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in the
delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Registered
Nurse job description incorporates the 15 essential functions of
clinical nursing practice. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Basic Life Support certification is required within three months of
hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required
within one year of hire.
