DescriptionJoin our large (60+), multi-disciplinary team of providers as an OB/GYN specialist at Erie Family Health Centers. Participate in a full spectrum practice where our OB/GYNs function as specialists, not primary care physicians. All Erie sites qualify for NHSC with a HPSA score of 19.
This physician provides comprehensive reproductive health care services to Erie patients including prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Hospital practice includes labor and delivery as well as gynecologic surgery relevant to general obstetrics and gynecology. This role serves as an expert consultant for other primary health care providers at Erie. Outpatient work includes management of general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic consultation, and office-based procedures such as ultrasound, colposcopy and LEEP.
Qualifications

• Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in medical Spanish preferred.
    
  • Licensed physician in Illinois.
    
    
    
  • Experience and Education:
    
    • 
      
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, IL License.
      
      
      
    • Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, handling, throwing, and reaching. Fine finger movement required. Mobility requirements include sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
