Vista Health System is a community healthcare provider; a network that includes Vista Medical East campus and the Vista Lindenhurst campus that includes Vista Ambulatory Care Center, Lindenhurst Surgery Center, LLC, a freestanding Emergency Center and the Medical Office Building. Vista Health System is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer. - The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for the practice of Nursing by ensuring consistence in the standard of practice across the clinical settings. As a member of the executive team, the CNO supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care. This includes creating a nursing environment in which collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care and education is promoted and achieved. The CNO ensures the continued advancement of the profession of Nursing.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.

Must possess Bachelors' in Nursing (BSN), and Masters in Nursing, Healthcare or Business Administration preferred

10 years of nursing leadership experience managing large nursing departments within hospital setting

Outstanding communication skills

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
