Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, primarily providing supervision for the children/adolescent cases, assuring staff compliance with productivity requirements, assessments and notes.
• Supervise interns and work with other supervisors in helping train and orientate students to Josselyn procedures and policies. Work to effectively ensure all staff understand Josselyn policies and procedures.
• Monitor and approve Clinical staff work and vacation schedules such that the needs of the Center are covered
• Be available to handle crisis requests for clinical and front office staff.
• Be available to coordinate intake functions, when Intake coordinator is unavailable
• Work effectively with other Supervisors.
• Foster relationships with community resources and participate usefully in community related activities.
• Participate cooperatively in performance improvement activities, committee work, when requested, mandatory in-services.
• Represent the Center with integrity, abide by the ethical statement of the Center and protect confidentiality.
• Maintain 30% direct service productivity and caseload of 10-15 clients after 4 months onboarding period.
• Proficiency with confidentiality, client rights, safety, and infection control, incident and sentinel event reporting and personnel policies.
• Organizational Responsibilities:
• Help onboard staff and interns
• Train staff on CIS functionality and be a resource when issues arise
• Participate in community-related services as appropriate
• Represent the agency with integrity and professionalism
• Abide by the ethical statement of the agency
• Responsible managing clinical staff schedule, payroll, performance management and employee development goals..
  
  Requirements:
  
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Masters in Social Work or Masters in Counseling with current Illinois mental health care license
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive and successful clinical supervision experience preferable in an outpatient mental health setting(preferably working children and adolescents).
  • Licensed for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health or related field(LCSW/LCPC).
  • Demonstrated experience providing and/or supervising community-based mental health treatment
  • Demonstrated clinical experience with the child and adolescent population, community mental health, and/or community psychology models
  • Experienced in providing therapy services to children and adolescents who have complex, multiple diagnosis histories
  • Clinical training and experience with trauma informed treatment models and interventions for children and families with complex trauma and attachment difficulties
  • Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration.
  • Demonstrated administrative, supervisory and organizational skills.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve in both short and long term contexts.
