Range:75 - 80 $/ hr on w2Job Description:
- Develop, execute and manage desktop software and tool
deployment projects within the defined scope.
- Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated
project activities within constraints and changing priorities to
ensure the successful completion of projects.
- The release Manager will be responsible for planning and
execution of Small to Medium projects to support line of business
and enterprise-level desktop software and tools deployment in the
spaces of Infrastructure, Architecture, Identify Management, and
Endpoint Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and
Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable
Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Initiate and Plan IT Projects: Works with business and IT
management to establish and gain consensus on project goals,
objectives and deliverables.
- Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope,
issues and risks will affect projects working with division and
cross-divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for
resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is
progressing as compared to the original plan and budget
- Executing and Closing Projects: Develops and executes a work
plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are
performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval
from the sponsor and stakeholders.
- Project Communication: Communicate project progress by
producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project
status and decision support information to Project Team, Division,
Cross Division and Executive management. Makes recommendations
based on current project status to resolve issues.
- Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure
project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and
deliverables to team members based on their abilities. Supervises,
motivates and mentors cross-functional /cross-divisional project
teams of project managers, business analysts, developers, and
validation analysts.
- Perform work using existing standards, methodologies, desktop
tools and processes, understand other software/business processes
relationship to each other. Strong focus on advanced excel and data
analysis and quantitative report analysis.
- If required develop Project Charter, project plans, project
work plan (WBS), current and future process maps and all other
project deliverables determined by management.
- Will lead Infrastructure Projects in various domains as
required.
- Will be expected to present status to multiple levels of
management.
- Will manage work with strong focus on Risk Identification and
management.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills given the high
degrees of strategic impact, change, project complexity, and
potential senior executive interactions.
- Solid experience and understanding of tracking and managing
project budgets and financials.
- Will work with a matrixed team, and possibly multiple
vendors.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Will lead and direct the work of others.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, project
management or related discipline Or Associates Degree with 10+
years direct experience in IT Project Management.
- Minimum of 5 Years' experience in IT project management,
business systems analysis, or deployment, with a minimum of 3
years' experience managing Infrastructure projects.
- Total Combined Experience: 5 - 10+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Software Life Cycle (SLC) process phases
including risk and impact assessment for software testing, pilot
and production deployments.
- Skilled in problem solving, research, quantitative reporting
analysis and analytical working techniques
- Compilation and analysis of desktop inventory data and
metrics
- Expertise in analytical tools such as MS Excel
- Experience with Clarity PPM tool and MS Project
- Familiarity with Organization Change Management or change
management certification.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical or highly regulated quality
environment preferred
- PMP Certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- ITIL Certification
- MS Excel for data/quantitative report analysis

cross-functional teams.

Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or
required? If yes, how many hours, what impact to scheduled working
hours?
- Overtime would be a rare occasion. Standard 40 hrs., M-F 8A-5P
(CDT)
- Any OT needs to be approved prior to working
