Our founding firms worked together to leverage powerful relationships, industry expertise and resources with the goal of elevating the client experience.Responsibilities The Procurement Manager's primary responsibility is to drive compliance and standardization across all segments of Alera to achieve operational excellence. The Procurement Manager will lead deployment and training of national programs related to executed contracts across all Alera firms. The successful individual must be a self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Procurement, with exposure to C-suite. The Procurement Manager will be expected to consistently demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional ethical standards. Decisions will align with the Company's Values and commitment to the Collaborative Way. The building and maintaining of an open and honest working relationship with others will enhance goal setting, problem resolution, and decision making that enhances organizational effectiveness.

  • Consolidate spend reports across 80+ Alera entities.
  • Lead Integration meetings with new firms to create awareness around national contract opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services Team on cost savings and standardization opportunities.
  • Perform market research to identify potential vendors, calculate baseline, and formulate RFP questions in preparation for the bid or proposal process.
  • Data collection including spend analysis, tracking contract expiration reports, and manage KPI tracker.
  • Experience leading supplier contract negotiations throughout the strategic sourcing process including request for information (RFI), request for quotation (RFQ), and request for proposal (RFP).
  • Execute and implement national contracts across the firms.
  • Analyze/measure supplier performance, track compliance, manage monthly vendor reporting.
  • Maintain integrity of the National Contract Repository.
  • Manage Procurement Savings Report for all indirect categories including Marketing and IT.
  • Attend quarterly reviews with vendors and internal leadership.
  • Responsible for upkeep, development, and communication of written policies, procedures, manuals, and forms related to Shared Services Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Maintain and Update Procurement Page on the Alera intranet.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Diversity Department to determine minority, woman, veteran, and disadvantaged business enterprise opportunities.
  • Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to perform additional duties, as assigned.Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
    • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
    • Experienced in collaboration and supporting change in multi-unit organization.
    • Experience with procurement RFP's, tracking cost savings, data analysis, vendor negotiations, and establishing stakeholder engagement.
    • Strong knowledge of progressive procurement methods, terminology, and principles.
    • Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
    • Proficient in writing documentation related to operation and procurement policies, procedures, guides, and other material.
    • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate data into decision making.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data/facts to support conclusions and recommendations.
    • High work capacity and organization skills to handle rapid growth.
    • Position based in Deerfield, IL.
