    As our Plant Manager, you will be responsible for responsible for overseeing a 45,000 square foot manufacturing facility with approximately 50 employees. You will also be accountable for providing effective management by focusing on the general objectives of safety, quality, customer service, and cost reduction with emphasis on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

    What you'll be doing
    • Create and promote a strong safety culture focused on zero injuries and based on risk assessment, risk tolerance, and adherence to environmental, health, and safety programs, procedures, and policies
    • Develop and achieve annual budgets, forecasts, and capacity plans that align with business goals
    • Support the plant's transition to a world-class Lean manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and people development
    • Achieve high standards of 5S & housekeeping to minimize risks and maximize performance
    • Manage overall plant performance in reaching established goals
    • Decide appropriate corrective actions in conjunction with corporate management
    • Managing production schedule and providing lead times for standard products
    • Participating in product design solutions
    • Supervising 10 staff leaders in safety/quality, manufacturing, engineering, project management, estimating, purchasing, maintenance, and office administration
    • Aligning the organization to customer expectations and proactively seeking VOC
    • Developing a highly capable leadership team through ongoing professional development via coaching
    • Owning career development of associates, developing team skills, and creating a culture of engagement and continuous improvement
    • Formulating plant strategy and objectives and engaging all associates to participate
    • Establishing clear priorities and a compelling vision for the future strategy of the plant
    • Identifying and shaping strategic opportunities for innovation in products, processes, and capabilities
    • Collaborating with sales, marketing, construction services, and customer service teams to efficiently flow work through the plant, develop new products, and provide world class quality and customer service to drive profitability

      What will make you successful
      • Leadership skills with a proven track record of success and ability to drive P&L results
      • Strong knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques including Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing
      • Results-oriented mindset with strong integration skills
      • Ability to work across organizational lines to achieve business goals

        Required Qualifications
        • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline; preferably Engineering
        • 10+ years of increasing levels of production management experience in a manufacturing setting

          Preferred Qualifications
          • Bilingual in Spanish and English
          • Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications
