to join our team as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 3 based
out of Rolling Meadows, IL . This role supports the Commodities RF
assembly area, where precision work, safety, and adherence to
specialized processes are critical. What you'll get to do : Perform
a variety of operations to assemble/solder precision
electromechanical products specifically related to line replaceable
units (LRUs). Execute tasks such as using precision measuring
instruments to achieve specified tolerances. Assemble, disassemble,
repair, rework, and reassemble both production and depot field
return LRUs. Support the development and modification of prototype
LRUs in collaboration with engineering personnel. Monitor and
verify product quality using statistical processes and other
control procedures. Maintain accurate data and detailed
record-keeping of assembly processes. Follow the company’s
electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures and in-house
certifications, including Solder, drawing interpretation, ESD, and
FOD. Work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions
to ensure high-quality assembly. Use and apply standard
electromechanical assembly techniques with parts of various size,
as well as handling RF cabling and electrical wiring harnesses.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions : The role involves
repetitive tasks and prolonged standing, requiring the candidate to
maintain focus and precision throughout each shift. Must adhere to
rigorous safety protocols, especially when working with hazardous
chemicals and processes. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a clear
communicator who can read and understand complex instructions. Be
comfortable working soldering tools. Be committed to safe work
practices and continuous quality improvement within a dynamic RF
assembly environment. Have strong attention to detail and excellent
manual dexterity. Possess strong leadership skills, communication,
and experience with the Microsoft office suite. Basic
Qualifications for Precision Electromechanical Assembler 3 : High
school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant
work experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in
assembling products using standard electromechanical techniques
with basic handheld tools. Experience with drawing interpretation,
surface mount, thru hole, and leaded device install etc. Experience
soldering in accordance with specified workmanship standards.
Experience with shop safety practices and procedures during
assembly operations, including proper handling of hazardous
materials. U.S. Citizenship Required Ability to obtain a SECRET
security clearance Preferred Qualifications for Precision
Electromechanical Assembler 3 : Demonstrated experience performing
precision assembly and soldering. IPC610 and JSTD-001 certified

more! MPR Primary Level Salary Range: $53,500.00 - $89,100.00 The
above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
