Job Description Job Description Maintenance Mechanic: Darien, Wisconsin Our customer in Darien, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Maintenance Mechanics to work full-time. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues to keep equipment and systems operating safely and efficiently. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and equipment malfunctions. Perform preventative maintenance according to schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Install, adjust, repair, and replace equipment parts and components as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist with general facility maintenance, including lighting, painting, and basic carpentry Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when required. Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 2–5 years of experience as a maintenance technician, mechanic, or in a related role. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, or machinery repair strongly preferred. Ability to operate or cross-train on equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes. Fabrication and welding experience is a plus. Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety procedures. Pay for Maintenance Mechanic: $25-$32/hour. Maintenance Mechanic Benefits: Health insurance.
