Sr. Substation Engineer - P.E. Position Overview We are seeking a
highly skilled Sr. Substation Engineer to lead the design and
implementation of high voltage substations. The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience in substation design, power systems,
and project management, ensuring that all projects are completed on
time and meet IEEE standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design
and engineering of high voltage substations Develop and review
engineering drawings using AutoCAD Conduct power systems analysis
and design for substations Ensure compliance with IEEE standards
and regulatory requirements Manage project timelines and budgets,
coordinating with cross-functional teams Design protection systems
for high voltage equipment Provide technical guidance and
mentorship to junior engineers Conduct site assessments and
feasibility studies for substation projects Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required Minimum of 10 years
of experience in substation design and engineering Proficient in
AutoCAD and power systems analysis software Strong knowledge of
high voltage design principles and protection systems Experience
with project management and leadership in engineering projects
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including IEEE
