Job Description:

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Network Engineer in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Job Description:
  • Plans, designs, and implements network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure performance of multiple communication networks.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and recommends new network administrative systems for entire networks to ensure accurate network inventory and timely implementation.
  • Seeks a candidate with a strong background in designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Requires advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking. Required Qualifications:
    • Ability to design network architecture based on survey results and requirements.
    • Experience installing designed networks in deployed environments.
    • Operational experience maintaining network infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, network architecture planning, and managing Cisco ASA appliances.
    • Capability to prepare and present briefings. Desired Qualifications:
      • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.
      • DoD IAT Level II or higher.
      • Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
      • Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, MCSE. Education Requirements:
        • BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience. Security Requirements:
          • Must currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain it. Travel Requirements:
            • Work may involve multiple locations including Virginia, Arizona, Washington, Kuwait. Candidate must be able to travel OCONUS. Physical Requirements:
              • Remaining stationary for extended periods, standing or sitting.
              • Moving between worksites.
              • Communicating effectively with others.
              • Performing repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
              • Light physical activity, including moving objects up to 20 pounds.
