Project Manager / Project Engineer - Structural Steel

Location: Lake County, IL

Pay Rate: $65k - $100k

Duration of Job: Permanent



Main function is to effectively manage large and/or multiple smaller structural steel and misc metals projects.

Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 
  
• 3+ years experience with structural steel fabrication/erection or related industry
  
• Strong verbal/written communication skills, including customer relations skills
  
• Team player, prefers fast paced environment, comfortable multi-tasking, prioritizing, and ability to handle multiple projects at various phases of construction
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• Proficient with architectural/structural blueprint reading and steel shop drawing packages
  
• Job site experience, field measuring experience +++
  
• Familiar with processing/tracking submittals, RFIs, change orders; PROCORE or similar experience +++
  
  Education: BS Structural or Civil Engineering or experienced in the industry
  
  General Contractor or Construction Site exp. in Chicago
