TITLE: Office Assistant - Operations & Facilities Applicants are

Description: Provides a safe and properly maintained building to
enhance the learning environment for all District
stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Certification: Required: Not
applicable 2. Education: Required - High School Diploma or
Equivalent 3. Experience: Required - Proficient computer skills,
excellent organizational skills, excellent time management skills,
high degree of attention to detailESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coordinate all facility usage requests with
internal and external organizations. This includes computer input,
calendar and forms distribution, communication with staff and
organizations via telephone, 2-way radio, fax, and e-mail. 2.
Generate facility usage invoices for external organizations, to
include calculating hours of usage, appropriate fees for each
space, etc. 3. Coordinate weekend overtime activities, to include
scheduling via seniority list, distributing completed list, etc. 4.
Maintain department files, including correspondence, construction
documents, etc. 5. Assist Operations and Facilities Secretary in
processing of invoices, as required. 6. Generate correspondence as
requested by Director of Operations and Facilities. 7. Performs
such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as
assigned by the Director of Operations and Facilities.OTHER
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other tasks and
responsibilities as assigned by the School Administration, O
Director/Facilities Manager or representative. Assist in other
areas as needed. Complete other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Technical: Must be able to use the district
email system, the Facilities Scheduling system, and Microsoft
Office/Google docs. Must also be able to use the call-in system.
Interpersonal: Must be able to work collaboratively with a team,
must be able to make difficult decisions that impact learning and
safety, must be able to work harmoniously with students, parents,
staff, and administration. Must be able to follow directives given
by the School Administration and O Director/Facilities Manager.
Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents,
staff, and the community at large. Must exhibit sound judgment in
dealing with people. Must have strong organizational

possible. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Manual Dexterity: Work requires
definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some
closely coordinated performance. Physical Effort: Work requires

not for sustained periods. Must be able to stoop, climb, and reach.
Working Conditions: Some exposure to definitely disagreeable
elements may exist.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time position - 180
days / year. May be assigned overtime, if needed. Work hours may be
flexed as defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Non-exempt Union position. WORK HOURS: 180 days ( August - June);
four hours per day Monday - Friday SALARY RANGE: $13.75 / hour
minimum (Commensurate with experience and in accordance with the
