Staff Accountant/Marina Accountant Job Summary: This role is responsible for providing direct financial management for the assigned portfolio of marinas and clients. Responsibilities include: Monthly accounting close, balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and prepare timely and accurate financial/operating report packages for the assigned mixed portfolio Work closely with General Managers, Accountants, clients and corporate personnel to provide top quality customer service, budgets, year-end reconciliations and financial reports Cash management functions including bank reconciliations, bank transfers, owner distributions/cash sweeps, and payment processing Utility and tenant bill backs Sales and use tax returns Work with auditors and tax accountants to ensure quality year-end financial statements Work with General Managers, Accountants, clients and corporate personnel to provide top quality customer service, budgets, year-end reconciliations and financial reports Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years related experience or an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and 4 years related experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products. Extremely organized, strong multi-tasking and proven time management skills Working knowledge of Quickbooks preferred Founders 3 is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
