POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Head of Regional Operations, with a strong dotted line to the Corporate Chief Financial Officer, this person will be a key member of the finance and regional operations leadership teams. They will help grow and drive the business through quality financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting of the business. The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving and completing the annual budget for the region, as well as continual re-forecasting of operating results as changes in business conditions occur. In addition to key financial modeling and analysis skills, the ability to translate business issues into clear and meaningful financial forecasts and analyses is a key attribute for this role. The Senior Manager is the top finance position in the region and will provide guidance on accounting matters and will be the conduit between operations and corporate accounting, as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Support Corporate FP&A with preparation of the monthly reporting package, including the analytical review of the operating results compared to budget and prior year to help leaders understand financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) Help to develop appropriate financial and operational KPIs that support the measuring of underlying drivers of the Region's financial performance Reviewing and analyzing monthly operations reports in conjunction with tracking and reporting operational KPIs Drives, coordinates and compiles the annual budget as well as periodic forecasts Assist operations leadership and cross-functional personnel with financial guidance and mentoring Provide ad hoc analysis, which will include interaction with various departments and the building of robust financial models, in support of the business needs Effectively collect and manipulate large sets of data, from various sources, then analyze and summarize this information, as well as trends, in the preparation of financial reports Identifies opportunities for improvement, especially overly manually reports and processes, with a focus on leveraging systems for data extracts and creating formula-driven calculations (i.e., sumifs, index/match) Updates job knowledge by partaking in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations Support M&A and integration efforts, including due diligence and integrating acquired companies into the forecasting and reporting framework and process Other related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis; at three years of supervisoryexperience a plus Experience preparing complex financial models in Excel and reports/dashboardsutilizing a business intelligence tool "Bottoms-up" budget and forecast creation experience Presentation of financial information to a non-financial audience experience Experience in an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing environment a plus Private equity and multi-site operating model experience preferred EDUCATIONAL/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or a related field CPA, MBA and/or another advanced degree is a plus Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation and drug test COMPETENCIES: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Able to analyze, summarize and articulate complex financial information Effective written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal and presentation skills Computer skills to include expert-level Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word capabilities as well as experience with an ERP system (Business Central, NetSuite, etc.)and a business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others Positive-oriented personality; a responsive team player Task and goal oriented; capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial environment and dealing with ambiguity WORKING CONDITIONS: Office Setting. Some overnight travel may be necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional lifting of office supplies and other material associated with position.
